Important information about your accounts and services.

Your accounts have automatically transferred; however, some services will require additional set up. If you have questions, please call 866.287.6225, email Support@CUSoCal, or use our chat feature “Cali” located on the bottom right of this page.

  • Starting September 1, existing and new Bill Pay users will need to enroll in CU SoCal’s free Online Banking to use Bill Pay. Simply follow the steps within Online or Mobile Banking to start using Bill Pay.

  •  You now have full access to 19 additional CU SoCal branches and will continue to have access to more than 5,600 shared branches throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, and military bases around the globe, as well as more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs. Click here to view in depth branch and atm information.

  • Starting September 1, your credit union Membership account terms and schedule of fees will change. View an updated Schedule of Fees and About Your Accounts brochure for more information.

  • Checking account users received three (3) temporary checks by October 15, 2023. Please start using your new checks upon receipt. Your PacTrans checks will continue to clear until February 28, 2024. If you would like to request a free box of checks, please call CU SoCal at 866.287.6225 or visit a branch on or after September 1.

  • Direct deposits and automatic payments (such as payroll, Social Security, and gym membership fees) will continue without interruption until February 28, 2024. However, you will be required to update your credit union account number and routing number before that time. On or after September 1, please update these accounts using CU SoCal’s routing and transit number and your new Member number.

    Update account information with Social Security by calling 1.800.772.1213, or by visiting www.ssa.gov. You will need your PacTrans account and routing number, and your new CU SoCal account and routing number.

  • Existing credit card holders may continue using their PacTrans credit card until they receive a CU SoCal Visa® credit card in early 2024. Additional information will be mailed to PacTrans credit card holders and an online payment link is listed below.

  • A new CU SoCal Visa Debit Card was mailed to you before September 1 and can be activated. Please provide your new card information to companies that automatically bill your card and online retailers where you’ve saved your information.

  • All PacTrans Members will receive a paper statement for the period ending August 31, including those who currently receive eStatements. Due to regulatory requirements, you must re-enroll on or after September 1 to continue receiving eStatements. Select View Documents within Online or Mobile Banking to enroll in eStatements.

    CU SoCal charges a paper statement fee of $2; however, this fee will be waived through December 31 for all Members. The fee will continue to be waived for Members 17 years of age and younger, or 64 years of age and better. Beginning January 1, 2024, the $2 fee may be applied to your account. CU SoCal charges a standard paper statement fee of $2; however, this fee will be waived through December 31, 2023. Beginning January 1, the standard $2 fee may be applied to your account. Please review the Schedule of Fees to learn how the fee may be waived.

  • There will be no interruption to your internal transfers to shares and loans. External transfers and transfers scheduled within Bill Pay or the Online Payment Center will need to be re-established on or after September 1. Please see the Bill Pay section for additional details.

  • There will be no changes to loan types. However, some changes may be made to loan terms and added loan protection policies. Members impacted by these changes will be mailed additional information.

  • Please reference the letter you received prior to September 1, 2023, with your new Member/account number and details of your account.

    PacTrans Members, your new CU SoCal Member/account number will be a total of ten (10) digits. A prefix of eight (8) will be added to your existing PacTrans Member number along with zeros to create your new Member/account number.

    For example:
    Your PacTrans Member/Account Number is: 1234
    Your new CU SoCal Account number is: 8000001234

    Your PacTrans Member/Account Number is: 123456
    Your new CU SoCal Account number is: 8000123456

    If you are a former Union Pacific Member, your new Member number will total 7 (seven) digits. To determine your new CU SoCal Member/Account number, start with 8 and add zeros between the eight (8) and your existing PacTrans Member number to equal seven (7) digits.

    Your new CU SoCal Account number is: 8001234

    Your Union Pacific/PacTrans Member/Account Number is: 123456
    Your new CU SoCal Account number is: 8123456

  • Please enroll in CU SoCal’s free Online Banking. To enroll, visit CUSoCal.org or download the CU SoCal Mobile App. Download CU SoCal’s Mobile Banking App for your Apple or Android device after you have enrolled in CU SoCal’s Online Banking. You will need your new CU SoCal Member number, birth date, and Social Security Number. Your login information will work for both Online and Mobile Banking.

  • Overdrafts from your checking will continue as designated and you may add your savings account by submitting an Overdraft Authorization Form included in this packet.

    CU SoCal offers Courtesy Pay as an option to cover transactions when you may not have funds available. You may authorize CU SoCal to pay, rather than return, non-sufficient fund transactions on your everyday debit and ATM card transactions for a fee. See our Courtesy Pay brochure and Schedule of Fees for additional information. Fill out the Courtesy Pay Authorization form to sign up for Courtesy Pay. Once complete, bring the form to any CU SoCal branch.

  • CU SoCal offers Zelle® for all P2P transfers. Please read and accept the Zelle® Network Terms and Conditions located in the “Transfer and Pay” section of Mobile Banking to get started.

  • Your shares will continue to be protected by federal deposit insurance provided through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), a division of the National Credit Union Administration and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
