When it comes to additional coverage amounts, spouses with children can qualify for 50% additional coverage, those without children can qualify for 60%, and a child or children can qualify for 20%.
Dependent child care
If you lose life or physical ability from a qualifying accident, many child care costs can be covered or supported. Child care equal to the lesser of 2% of additional coverage, $2,000, or incurred qualifying costs up to a maximum lifetime value of $50,000, are paid.
Educational assistance benefits
Dependent children can receive an educational benefit while they are full-time students at higher education institutions. This includes students in 12th grade that enroll in a higher education institution within one year.
