Update Automatic Payments

Direct Deposit Widget

 On September 1, 2023, your accounts automatically transfered; however, some services may still require additional set up. Your new CU SoCal Member/account number was mailed to you in a letter in August with additional account information. If you have questions please use our chat feature "Cali" or call CU SoCal at 866.287.6225.

Membership Number

Your new Member/Account number and details of your account were mailed to you on August 22, 2023. Please click here if you need help identifying your new Member Number.

Debit and ATM Cards

Please activate and begin using your new CU SoCal Visa® Debit Card. You will need to provide your new card information to companies that automatically bill your card and online retailers. 

Credit Cards

Please activate and use your new CU SoCal Topaz Credit Card.

Make a Payment on Your New CU SoCal Topaz Credit Card:

  • Mail your payments to: CU SoCal, P.O. Box 37035, Boone, IA 50037-0035
  • Login to Online or Mobile Banking
  • Contact us at 866.287.6225
To select a PIN for your CU SoCal Credit Card, please call 888.891.2435. You will need to re-establish auto pay for your CU SoCal Topaz Credit Card.

Online and Mobile Banking

Please enroll in CU SoCal’s free Online and Mobile Banking.

To enroll, visit CUSoCal.org or download the CU SoCal Mobile Banking App. You will need your new CU SoCal Member number, birth date, and Social Security Number. Your login information will work for both Online and Mobile Banking. Your August eStatement and past statements will be available in Online and Mobile banking in the View Documents widget. Unfortunately, you will not be able to view any past transactions. Please reference CUSoCal.org/Access/DigitalBanking which features an overview of the CU SoCal’s Online and Mobile Banking services.

Statements

All PacTrans Members received a paper statement for the period ending August 31, 2023, including those who were enrolled in PacTrans eStatements. Due to regulatory requirements, you will need to re-enroll in eStatements to continue receiving eStatements. Select “View Documents” within Online or Mobile Banking to enroll in eStatements.
 
CU SoCal charges a paper statement fee of $2; however, this fee will be waived through December 31 for all Members. The fee will continue to be waived for Members 17 years of age and younger, or 64 years of age and better. Beginning January 1, 2024, the $2 fee may be applied to your account. Please review the Schedule of Fees to learn how the fee may be waived.

Bill Pay

Existing and new Bill Pay and Online Payment Center users, please enroll in CU SoCal’s free Online and Mobile Banking to use Bill Pay and schedule external transfers. Simply follow the steps within Online or Mobile Banking to start using Bill Pay and re-enter payments.

Branches and ATMs

You now have access to 23l CU SoCal branches and will continue to have access to more than 35,000 Co-op Shared Branches and ATMs. Click here to find your nearest Branch or ATM.

Checking

Checking account users received three (3) temporary checks prior to October 15, 2023. Your PacTrans checks will continue to clear until August 31, 2024. If you would like to request a free box of CU SoCal Custom Design checks, please call CU SoCal at 866.287.6225 or visit a branch.

Person to Person (P2P) Transfers

CU SoCal offers  Zelle® for all P2P transfers. Please read and accept the Zelle® Network Terms and Conditions located in the “Transfer and Pay” section of Mobile Banking to get started.

Overdraft Protection and Courtesy Pay

Overdrafts from your checking will continue as designated and you may add your savings account by submitting an Overdraft Authorization Form.

CU SoCal offers Courtesy Pay as an option to cover transactions when you may not have funds available. You may authorize CU SoCal to pay, rather than return, non-sufficient fund transactions on your everyday debit and ATM card transactions for a fee. See the Overdraft Authorization Form for additional information.

Change in Terms and Fee Schedule

On September 1, your credit union Membership account terms and schedule of fees changed. Please review the Schedule of Fees and About Your Accounts for more information.

Internal Account-to-Account and Account-to-Loan Transfers

There will be no interruption to your internal transfers to shares and loans. External transfers and transfers scheduled within Bill Pay or the Online Payment Center will need to be re-established.. Please see the Bill Pay section for additional details.

Direct Deposits and Automatic Payments

Direct deposits and automatic payments (such as payroll, Social Security, and gym membership fees) will continue without interruption until August 31, 2024. However, you will be required to update your credit union account number and routing number before that time. Please update your accounts with CU SoCal’s routing and transit number and your new Member number.

Update account information with Social Security by calling 1.800.772.1213, or by visiting www.ssa.gov. You will need your PacTrans or Union Pacific account and routing number, and your new CU SoCal account and routing number.

Loans

There will be no changes to loan types. However, some changes may be made to loan terms and added loan protection policies. Members impacted by these changes were mailed additional information or contacted by a CU SoCal representative.

Your shares will continue to be protected by federal deposit insurance provided through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), a division of the National Credit Union Administration and backed by the full faith and credit of the United States Government.
